one of the best game available on xbox 360
The best thing about the game is the super solid graphic that is using Unreal Engine 3 technology. Even on my conventional TV, the graphic is f**king solid, so u can imagine how much better will it be when using HDTV.
Some conversations between Marcus Fenix(the character that we played) and his teammates are kind of funny. They are in the middle of war, and they still can joke around. Happy or not happy, they still need to go through it, so they choose to be happy. Won't it be nice if everyone have this mindset when dealing with our life?
In the game, beside shooting, players also can melee. There is one special machine gun(Lancer Assault Rifle) with chainsaw bayonet. When u are close to an enemy and have a chance to use the chainsaw, u can get damn bloody effects.
As for the single player campaign, I think it is abit too short. My suggestion is beside having the "good guys" campaign maybe the game should also have a "bad guys" campaign. Beside having single-player and co-op play, GOW also have a team-based multiplayer mode for up to eight players(4 vs. 4). So maybe the campaign is just a starter, multiplayer is the main dish. I have tried a few multiplayer games on Xbox Live, the multiplayer mode is still not bad.
Even for a non-fan of shooter games like myself, I can said that I quite like Gears of War. For those who have Xbox 360 console, go and buy the game! For those who don't have Xbox 360 console, go and buy the console and the game!
