How can the retard's who gave this game 7's and even 6's say it was bad?How can you trash the multiplayer? This game definitely lives up to the hype that has been there this whole time. Like my intro says, there is no way anything will be able to kill Halo. But this game is definitely Halo 3's partner in crime. These two games are the reasons people will buy a 360. The 3 difficulties definitely capture the differences in gamer's. Casual (Easy) is what it says, for the casual gamer. Hardcore is just perfect for average gamers who enjoy their videogames. And Insane is a great challenge for the videogame fanatic. The multi-player is great! You can play with your friends in player matches just between you guys or take it to the masses with ranked matches. Maps show recognition that this is a "stop and pop" game. They aren't huge which is great because you wouldn't be able to find anyone. But they are big enough that you can find a decent cover spot. And the online co-op is great. If a friend invites you into their game, it's not a big deal. You just jump in right where they are as Dom. And when you're done, you just hop out and the AI takes Dom over right there. The campaign can be hard for lonely people though. Your team AI can get frustrating so I suggest playing campaign as co-op. I played the campaign alone and with my friend Asher and with my friend was more fun. It will bring you closer with that person, trust me. Nothing brings you closer than saving a buddy's ass from bleeding to death or getting triple teamed. The opposing AI is very intelligent too. They will flank and cover for each other. They rush the wounded and sneak around behind you. Which is part of the reason I suggest always going co-op. That way you can communicate problems with each other. Boss battles are amazing. Unlike most boss battles where you get stuck in one room, here you are always moving. And bosses don't have a huge entrance either. You won't expect them to happen and then next thing you know you're fighting some huge beast. The game is definetly the best shooter on the 360 and it and Elder Scrolls IV can be argued as to which is the best 360 game in general. Personally I think Gears of War wins that fight but it depends on wether you like RPG's or Shooter's more. But if you have a 360, go buy this game. If you don't have a 360, go get one. PS3 aint got nothin on Xbox 360.
