Gears has some fantastic game play features, but gets repetitive quickly. The only other down fall is lack of story.
User Rating: 8.4 | Gears of War X360
The game play seems to have been put together fantastically. Because of this, the game has some more lasting replay value than a lot of the 360 games so far. However, the game's story is disappointingly not deep at all. If it is, then there is a lack of story telling. Also, the game has very few problems with glitches, however the glitches are extremely noticeable and are in fact hard to ignore when they occur. One such occurrence would be when I was one a turret and pressed Y to view a point of interest and found the level behind me to disappear causing me team mates to fall down to the bottom of the building.
The story's length is decent, around 7 hours on casual. But the game play throughout the story does seem to get repetitive with every other room involving the same things.
In conclusion: The game play and multi player are fantastic which gives Gears some lasting replay value. However there are a few extremely noticeable glitches and the story gets repetitive. Overall Gears is a must have for action loving 360 owners alike.
