I have to say, this is what makes Halo look generic and out dated. And that's saying a quite a bit.

Gears of War is a Third-Person Shooter, as you all well know. And according to Cliffy-B an "Action-Military-Third-Person-Horror-Shooter." Simply put it's not for children. So Parent's, please stop letting your 8 year old play this. Not only are they going to be exposed to all of the gore and violence, but online your child will be mercilessly taunted by xXt3hubersniperzorzXx and others of that nature for simply being 8 years old on Xbox Live. But enough of that. The Games immersive campaign mode is exactly how every campaign mode for a game should be: Exciting, Interesting, and excellent gameplay. The only downfall to the campaign mode is the slightly irritating, but highly tolerable not so perfect AI of your allies and the pinpoint accuracy of your foes. The multiplayer is a godsend especially for Xbox Live. Dead or Alive 4 simply doesnt have anything on it. Everything about the multiplayer (when running smoothly without bad connections) is perfect except for the foul-mouthed, crude, rude, vile, homophobic, racist, sexist, and "ageist" trash talkers that frequent matches, along with the every annoying glitcher. With only a few EXTREMELY minor defects to it, Gears of War is a must own for not only every Xbox360 owner, but every shooter fan also. go buy a 360 just for this game. It is an extremely good next-gen gaming experience that has no equal. (Until September 25th, 2007)
