Ok time to get in a review before Gears 2. It may be tough finding more great things to say about this thrilling ride.

Thrills, this is the key word for me with Gears. I can't tell you how many times I was shaking after a few good chapters in one of the Acts. I mean come on, the Beserker has got to be one of the most bone-chilling creatures in the game. And being properly weened through Casual mode to where I can play 4 Acts of Hardcore and 3 Acts of Insane by myself. I firmly believe and have stated over and over, Gears has the best Checkpoints and Controller design of any game out there. I recently joined a clan CLS, and I NEVER thought I would be good enough online. But these guys are cool so now I happily and confidently play Versus matches with them or by myself. Gears for me was a long process as I bought the Limited Edition I really wanted to take my time and really get into Marcus' story and how he and Dom evolved with the COG. In the end I was so glad I did as I feel Gears is a total experience. You can play this game many, many times online or single player and it just never gets old. That is one amazing accomplishment for Epic, and I think we are all very, very lucky. We can thank ourselves for immersing our fascinations in the world of gaming and thank companies like Epic for doing such a great job at constantly entertaining us and taking us away to these distant worlds.
