Very impressive game, with room to grow.

The game is great. Smart A.I., a good balance of weapons, and a very satisfying multi-player with plenty of maps. The feel and impact of the action, shooting, and moving are all solid. Looking at this game it's easy to see the difference between this and the last generation of games. The covering aspect of the gameplay is fluid and has more variety than expected. The weapons create a good mix of close, medium, and long range engagement. The bleed out aspect is a nice touch adding (execution) a completely new game-play mode to this genre. I think I would have liked to see a wider variety of finishing moves though. Why not let us use the other eight buttons or just have some specific finishing moves depending on the weapon you're brandishing besides the chainsaw? No disrespect, the chainsaw is F#*!ing SIC. Speaking of blades... Why not have a knife as a weapon? An engine like this with knife fighting stances, moves, grabs, throws... So yea, the game is awesome, with room to grow.
