This game will blow your mind
Single player mode is a blast, althougha little on the short side. This is not to say that the GoW campaign mode is boring or leaves you hanging, it is awesome. Once you finish single-player mode, the insane difficulty comes into play. And it is INSANE. You will be driven to finish Insane mode if you truly enjoyed this game.
Cooperative mode is also very fun. The screen is split horizontally, and it is still very fun, and it is very satisfying. This may be becuase of someone that you can actually talk to is on your team, or because there is somebody there to appreciate a perfect headshot or a chainsaw ripping through locust....yeah.
So what about online? It is the most fun I have had in a while. There is no free-for-all mode, only two teams of up to four. One Locust, one COG. Every single map that I have played on is fun. There are no health pickups, but why should there be? You heal if you dont die, and bleed out if you dont heal. Here's how bleeding out works. You get hit, you are disabled. Either one of your teammates helps you out or you hit the A button an impossible number of times to come back alive. You earn your life, dig?
Overall, GoW is the first 360 game that truly blows my mind away.
