Although initially unimpressed by this game, I changed my mind when it picked up considerably about half-way in. Some of the firefights became extremely intense and exciting, and I felt that kind of rush you only get when you play great games. I haven't played multi-player, so this review concerns only the single-player aspect of the game. On the negative: sadly, it's too short. I felt as though I was just getting to enjoy the game by the time thinks wrapped up. That said, I've heard a lot of positive things about online play, but not all of us play online (for a variety of reasons)
People have said a lot, so I'll just wrap it up: when 'boomers' start making appearances during firefights, the game get's exciting. You can't just sit back and take the enemy down at your leisure: you have to really use the controls of the game to succeed in those moments, and they are great.
I hope to see a sequal with a longer single player game next time.
