It is well done, annoying at times, but overated. Graphics are the best in any game so far. at least the characters are.
The rest of the game was balanced pretty well. I beat it on hard, I did not even try casual. My name on 360 live is architectus if anyone wants to add me or see my stats. Graphics – some of the best graphics out there right now on any system including PC. Not even FEAR or Half Life 2 on the PC look this good. The only problem is the graphics are kind of bland. The character models look excellent. Sometimes the backgrounds do not look as good as they could, but they still look fantasic.
Sound – Awesome music, good voice acting, nice sound effects. Story – the idea is cool, but there is not much of a story. I wish they would have gone in more detail. Developed the characters more and the plot as well. Lots of potential there but they fall short. Gameplay – It is not as good as everyone makes it out to be. It is done well though. There does not really seem to be any bugs. However it can get annoying at times. Towards the end of the game there is this timed part, really pissed me off, because I could not go back to get the Torqe bow. I passed it anyways. Sometimes I want to run but it connects to a wall instead, Sometimes I try to jump out of the way and instead it attach to a wall. The most annoying thing is that you cannot see where you are aiming unless you hold the aim button. However when the guys that run on the ground are surrounding you, you have to blind aim to shoot them while jumping out of their way, that just sucks. Over all the game is overated at least for the single player. However going online and playing coop is nice, and verses battle is cool although there should be more people. For the online it might be worth a purchase. the AI is totally fun. These are not just programmed fake people, they are living breathign aliens, darn it. They feel real. Old tactics do not work anymore. they are smart. If they hear you reloading and they are close enough they will rush you. They will not follow you down a hall way so you can pick them off. You cannot camp out in a building, they will hunt you down and throw grenandes and jump through windows and different openings to get you. They will rush you if they have an advantage and if you get the advantage back they will retreat. It is hard to explain, you have to play it. You will fill like you are fighting real beings.
