I wasn't into shooters.....UNTIL NOW! Simply the greatest game I ever played! I was always what most people called a "sports-junkie", especially when it came to game playing. I didn't just pick up on the game like most of my friends and neighbors (youth!). As a matter of fact, I an still in my learning curve. Seriously though, the game is VERY easy to play. The graphics are out of this world wicked, and the game audio (player voices) are cool. What is missing though is a brutal soundtrack (add your own in dashboard!). The campaigne version of this game is perfect in length. It's not too short like most Tom Clancy's, nor never ending like Oblivion. The AI is sweet as well. Although it sticks to a basic routine, there are enough variants to the game that make it never boring and leave you eager to play again and again!.
The ONLINE VERSUS mode is god-pounding!! THIS is what may take the world over! Don't get me wrong, there are some minor glitching, and little lag; but EPIC scored a headshot with this! I don't think there is a person alive that hasn't heard someone talking about GOW online play! It's everywhere!
I may get my ass handed to me by some 10 or 12 year old squirt (or even my own son), but nevertheless, I DO NOT REGRET GETTING THIS GAME!!
