A truly great game that's truly next gen.
The graphics are some of the best I've seen, and I'm not one of those graphics fanatics either. The blood effects are just incredible, generally because they break away from the ordinary bright red tinting and moved into the darker shades. The gore only adds, and for the family friendly of you, you can turn the explicit content off. The game play is relatively smooth and feels good, even though it takes a minute to adjust to. For the FPS gamers of the world, the change in perspective is going to be strange, but very welcome. The context sensitive A button gets weird at times but doesn't detract from the game play much.
The story could only be made better, and would definitely add to the experience. The enemies are interesting, but lack any diversity. This isn't a bad thing, but its just doesn't feel the way Halo did because of the diversity of enemies. Beyond that, this is definitely a game you'll want to play at least once.
