Everyone knows the good things about Gears, so I'll tell ya the Bad.
Gameplay: It is new and fun and everyone seems to like it. Though, some could say that it can get repetitive. Taking cover isn't the funniest thing in the world but it is definitly not dull.
Graphics: I know what your saying, "You gave the graphics a 9/10 !?!?!?" well yea. I did. You see, in my opinion to give a ten means that, that partictular aspect of the game can not be any better, and in reality, the graphics in Gears can be better. There are many glitches in the game that truely take the fun out of the game.
Sounds: I gave this a ten because i truely don't see how sound in a Xbox 360 game can sound much better. From the actors to the orchestra music, to the great Sound FX.
Value: Good value. $60 = 100 hours
Single Play: I really did not like the single player besides the boss fights and the last level. I felt like i was forced to play them because of the achievement points. It just felt so boring. Srop, shoot, stop, shoot, stop, shoot. There is hardly any story line, but it really seems like theres one there. Multiplay: This is Gears of War to some... Multiplayer is a blast. But like always there are some things... I HATE the ranking system. It is ridiculous. If i wanted to be in the top 100 all i would have to do is sit on my arsh and play it all day. There are also many glitches which make you scream at your controller and tv constintly. To me some things happen in the game that shouldn't. It feels like it isn't constint. Feels random. I know it isn't but when i feels like it is, you know theres a problem.
There you have it. A great game with flaws. Single player isn't good, multiplayer rivals any other, and the game just looks and sounds great. It is a definite reconmend.
