Easily The Game Of The Year!!!
Absolutley phenomenul. This isn't just a regular run and gun shooter, this is wat Epic calls a stop and pop shooter. This means that you have to actually take cover, and the cover works great. If your near a car a door or really anything at all you can press the A button and your character will mash his body against it. There are a bunch of different things you can do in cover like dive, jump over the object and more. A game is only as good as it's weapons, and Gears has some fantastic ones, they have your usual sniper, rocket launcher, and burst fire weapons, and shotguns but easily the best weapon in the game is the smg. It works just like a regular smg and is your go to weapon threw pretty much the whole game. What makes this weapon different than all the others is that it has a chainsaw attacment and how this works is that you have to hold the B button when your near an enemy and it will cut right threw them, you have to see it to believe it. One little thing that I have to talk about is the active reload, what this does is when you press the right bumper to reload you can press it again to give your ammo a little boost, it's great.
Graphics:
The best ever, period. Fantastic lighting. Great Player models. Crisp animations. Rock solid Frame-Rate. I could go on and on but I think I've made my point already.
Sound:
Almost as good as the Graphics, Fantastic sound affects, a great musical score. Superb Voice Acting. It's all Great.
Value:
The single player game isn't going to take that long to get threw but is very challenging. Although the online play is fantastic, the best multipayer game of the year. There are three game types and there all a hoot to play. This game is going to be spinning in my 360 for a long, long time.
Tilt:
One of the most fun games i've ever played in my life. The story isn't the best but it still pretty good. If they gave more information on the characters that would have been nice. But other than that there isn't really anything bad about gears of war. It's very. very addicting.
Overall:
If you havn't got this game yet, go out right now, and buy it. Step aside Halo 2 this is the game to be playing right now. Gears of War is one of the best games of all time!!!
