The first time I played Gears Of War I was awestruck. The graphics, sounds, and gameplay all seemed so perfect. The Locust enemies are designed amazingly and the A.I. is great. The C.O.G. Soldiers have great voices for the game and the things they say are very appropriate for the scenarios that go on throughout the game. The best designed enemy is the Berserker, it is just so big but also so fast and the designers have incorporated that very well. The Berserker charge just looks so real I almost felt like i was there dodging that massive thing.

The games dialouge is tough but can also be funny at points when the soldiers don't know what is coming next. The weapons in this game are limited but very inventive. The C.O.G. primary weapon is the Lancer which is pretty normal but to add some fun....a chansaw is attached to the barrell of the gun. Nothing makes me laugh more than running up to a guy and yellin CHAINSAW **** awsome. There is also a shotgun, sniper rifle and a handgun which can come in handy. There are also weapons that are picked up from enemies and grenades that you swing around and then let go... so sweet to watch. This could be the greatest game of all time so play it, and you will love it... thats a guarentee.
