On a planet fighting for it's own survival, you Marcus Fenix a Gear of the COG (Coalation Of Organized Governments) have been sent with the Delta Squad to eradicate the Locust nightmare that has been plauging the planet. And you're going to do it... with a chainsaw bayonet.

Gears of War is "THE" shooter of 2006 by far. With enchanting gloomy graphics it makes you think even more that this is a dark time for the planet. Also graphically it looks very realistic you can see almost every detail of every characters face, well except Carmine as his head is hidden behind a helmet! Chainsaw someone and you can see proper guts and intestines, not just blood or a body cut in half... REAL GUTS! Shoot someones face off and you can see their skull lying on the ground, also it is bloodstained. (I Like Playing Football With Them!)

Voice acting is good and every gun sounds clear and realistic, so overall sound is good.

Story is a bit vauge but you get the overall idea. Online Multiplayer is fun and is cool to play with your friend and have a laugh.
