A must-have game for the 360 !!!
The music was also pretty good and kept us really in the action. The sounds were great and the voice casting was sticking to the universe perfectly, using voices which were really from hard-boiled guys. A great thing is that you can either play it in english or in french, and both languages has this great voice casting.
The scenario was classic for a game of this genre. The Earth is threatened by aliens coming out of the ground, therefore you must save the Earth by using a soldier which is almost invincible. However, I still liked it.
I really loved the gameplay because I think it is very intuitive and easy to learn. The controls were also pretty good. The single player part was a bit short, but with the cooperation mode, it regains a lot of replay value. The multiplayer and the cooperation modes are, from my point of view, the best thing about Gears Of War. It uses game modes which are really fun and it can be very satisfying to take down your friend when you play with him. You can also compete against everyone by playing ranked games.
The bad side of this game is that sometimes it starts to lag, even in single player. The game has also some small problems after the loading, meaning that sometimes, the character the player controls has not detail on him, only the base colour of his equipment and skin. Apart from that, there's not much bug in the single player. However, the multiplayer part has a lot of glitch in it which you can use to your advantage and make the game less fun to play when you play with a "glitcher".
Overall, even with the problems I mentioned, Gears Of War is still an awesome game I play a lot. They also had some contents like new multiplayer maps. So these are the reasons why I really this game.
