After all the hype, the adds and the talk it's here. Gears of war, and the question everyone asks is. "Does it live up to the hype?" Well... hell yeah! The first think you notice about gears is the amazing overall presentation. Graphics, sound, V.O. work, it's all there. The graphics are the best to date in any video game ever. The character models are flawless. Every character have his own personality that stands out with out being annoying. The sounds are all amazing. From firing at a brick wall to ripping through the flesh of the locust.

The gameplay in the Single play campaign like the presentation is perfect. Taking cover behind cover popping up for a few seconds to take out a locust never gets boarding. There are plenty on boss to take care of also. But whats a shooter with out wicked guns to shot. Of course there is no shortage of guns to use in Gears of war. From the lance rifle with its chainsaw to the Torque Bow. A mechanical bow & arrow which shoots explosive arrows. There is enough fun in the single player to keep you tied to the TV for dozens of hours and with co-op play your sure to play the single player several times over.

The fun doesn't stop online either. Over xbox live you'll spent hours shooting it out with your pals in the same way to did to the locust in single player. The Online separates Gears of War from alot of other shooters which will keep this game in your disc tray for some time to come.

Bottom line GET GEARS OF WAR!
