Classic Game That You Will Keep Wanting To Play

The Xbox 360 has been out for a little over a year now and some great games have been released. The latest game that is possibly the best games released for the 360 is Gears of War. With a great story, revolutionary game play, and great multi-player, this game has all a player needs to get the greatest value out of a game. When you first begin playing this game, one of the first things you will notice is how well the graphics have been done. The game looks amazing and has a great theme going with the tone of the world being torn apart with war. Now as we all know, a game can't be judged on looks alone. Gears of War's game play is completely new to video games. The whole game revolves around you taking cover behind objects. Now this might seem kind of dull, but it is done very well and doesn't get old as you progress through the game's story. Now the game's plot revolves around humans at war with creatures called the Locust. The Locust are creatures that live beneath the Earth and are ruthless soldiers who will do anything to stop you. There are a variety of different Locust creatures, some are soldiers who carry guns and take you on in combat and some are massive beats who use their size and power to crush you. There is always a variety of different enemies in each level that will not keep you waiting to get into a big battle with your fellow human comrades. The single player aspect of Gears of War is amazing and will always keep you playing even if you find yourself at a certain spot where you keep being killed. The game's checkpoint system is pretty good at letting you leave off from a good spot to continue your missions. The game also offers some great weapons too. This game probably has the most original weapon in a long time, a machine gun with a chainsaw attachment. This weapon is your main gun throughout the game, but you can use shotguns, pistols, grenade launchers, sniper rifles, and a bow weapon that fires explosives. The hammer of dawn is also an original weapon, this weapon fires a beam from the sky and will destroy any enemies that are caught under it at the time. Although this is a great weapon, you will only use it at key points in the game when you are required to take out a large enemy. Once you finish the single player portion of Gears of War, there is a great multi player experience waiting over xbox live. You can battle it out in 4 vs 4 team deathmatch like games, that allow you only one life. You can use all of the weapons from single player online, even the hammer of dawn. There is also a mode where one member of each team is the leader and each team's objective is to kill the leader. Aside from the versus types of multi player there is also a great co-op experience available on xbox live or split screen on one console. Gears of War is an amazing and innovative game that has to be one of the best games to come out in a long time. There is a great story and the game offers a great multi player experience to play when you have completed the game. The game has a long lasting replay value and offers three modes of difficulty.
