so i got the game 2-3 days after its release. for the first two weeks i thought that it was the best game of all time. I passed it on casual mode and after that...well. there really wasn't anything to motivate me to play the game anymore. So i thought about xbox live. I thought about it because lots of people had said that it was amazing online. I played for about 10 minutes and after that I really was disappointed with the game. I am surprised that it has gone over three million sold copies. The game looks great sounds great, was fairly challenging, and it was great...for a while. what i expected from this game was a little more than that of which i expected. i thought i had gotten what i paid for in the first two weeks but time went on and i thought that maybe this game was worth the rental but not buying it for 60 bucks. My brother loves it though. He plays it online, passed it on all difficulties (something I will never accomplish unfortunately.) I hope that gears of war 2 will improve greatly on this first one. Because honestly i really don't think it is that great of a game. I loved it for the first two weeks but it just wore down so fast. I wish it could have been worth the 60 bucks. unfortunately I walked out with a sad face and disappointing game in my hand. good but not great. Here's the thing, I have changed my rating twice now and it has increased every time. That is because the more i play it the BETTER it gets.
