This is the game that will make u wonder why u ever bought a PS3. with over 3 million copies sold in just 10 weeks of release, and multiplayer already surpassing Halo 2, no wonder this was game of the year. This game isnt your standard FPS, and thats not because its in 3rd person. Gears changes your standard shooters with great weapons, new inventions like the active reload, redesigning and excelling in the cover system, and showing the world what the inside of a locust really looks like. some people say the story is confusing, but its really simple and genius. Man finds a new planet "Sera". Enemy's living under planet "Locusts" rise and attack man. Marcus abandons his squad after a few years of fighting after hearing his father might be in danger. Then after Colonel Hoffman finds out he is sent to 40 years in prison where his best friend Dom breaks him out after about 4 years. Then the game says the rest.
