Gears of War: Overhpyed or a truly good game?

This game I fell was very overhyped. With many other online shooters such as Call of Duty 3 and RSV, their multiplayer easily beats Gears of War. However, their campaign mode is what truky makes this game solid. Possibly one of the most innovative campaigns I might have ever played, and the best graphics to date, you are immersed in a war torn warld that keeps you on the edge of your seat the entire game! I certainly recommend this to any current or future owner of the 360 console. However, without XBOX Live, this game could very easily get old fast.
