Gears of War is mildly challenging at it's basic setting, but not over the top. The cover system, your low health, and the mildly above-average AI make each shoot out scene last longer, and it forces you to take every shoot out more seriously. There's never a dull moment with this game, and it's very entertaining. The main story is pretty short, though, so casual gamers may feel unfulfilled when they've beaten it, but shooting game fans may enjoy the multiplayer modes, online and off, well after they finish the story. Casual gamers and shooting game fans alike will love Gears of War's original style and presentation with great, detailed graphics one would expect from an XBox 360 game. There are a few graphics bugs scattered, and extremely hidden, throughout the game, but nothing too serious.
