The best Xbox 360 is not all it's crakced up to be. It is just another mediocre shooter.

Gears of War is just another shooter. It's only contribition to the shooter market its it's active reload. Which is pretty cool. Otherwise it is a shooter with decent grapis and a standard storyline. Monsters (locust) are attacking the human race and the humans have only one hope left (Marcus). This kind of storyline has been found in countless games. The gameplay is unique in only one way, its 3rd person over the shoulder camera position which I really don't care for. But that is a matter of personal preference. And what can I say for the multiplayer. 8 PLAYERS? And small maps. Come on. That is not nearly enough to match to Gears main competitor Resistance: Fall of Man. Which has 40 player capability and many different sized maps. All in all Gears of War does not match up to its hype.
