Definetly doesn't live up to hype. Clearly a case where graphics was chosen over other aspects.

Well, it came, everyone loved it, and everyone was super excited. However, this hype blinded most people, and anyone who actually played the game for over 40 hours would know that it doesn't withstand the test that classes games as great or good. I have to admit, the graphics are amazing. But, there is no replay value in the extremely short campaign, and the multiplayer has almost no maps or game modes. Modern games should definetly not be judged solely on graphics. It is clear that not enough effort was put in to extend the length of the game. To me it feels like a beta. Now, I know many people will say that multiplayer is the biggest aspect of this game. But, if you look at how there is only 3 modes, that are extremely similar, and how there are like 10 maps, you will understand that the developers failed. In addition, the bullet lag is atrocious, just like the host advantage. I have an excellent super high speed connection that I pay extra money for, and the bullet lag is horrible. This reduces most skill needed to play, and usually who ever is the host of the match will end up with the most kills by far. I know the developers are being sneaky along with microsoft by trying to milk the profits from this game even more by selling new multiplayer maps to players for money. The game is practically a tech demo or beta, and they are charging for more maps? This is not acceptable, and microsoft should not release games that are half finished and expect that the graphics will drive this game to success. Clearly, this game is nowhere near the hype, but there is great potential for the second one to be a great game.
