Gears of War is the best overall game out for the Xbox 360 right now. It has amazing graphics and gameplay, an intriguing story and engaging multiplayer. The campaign did a good job of creating a creepy post apocalyptic atmosphere and some parts really kept me on the edge of my seat. Some parts of the single player were monotonous, but that's to be expected in a shooter. The characters were really likable and the dialogue was great. The difficulty seemed just right through most of the game, but the last boss is extremely challenging.
I think that the game is overrated however. The campaign mode was too short, and multiplayer mode had some flaws, such as the lack of game types, and the inability to change maps after a game was over. Still, if you have a 360 you must get this game.
