A solid startegy that isn't really meant for on the go.
My favorite thing about Goc is it's most obvious attribute of being a boardgame. Its kingdom mode gives a gamer with time to kill something to do before the the doors of Wal-Mart open so he could Perchase next Final Fantasy. That, and it's multiplayer kingdom mode, has a special place in my heart.
Now for the ugly, thoiugh the battles are fun to watch, once or twice, it gets BORING, I mean I actually picked up a book during this one battle were both armys were the same unit and level. To put salt on that open head wound, it didn't allow you to pick more specific commands of your army (that I thought was essential to massing a battle) like flanking or breaking up your army into individual groups, Patton is rolling in his grave.
All-in-All, i like this game, i mean i've never been in control of a fictional kingdom that is being attacked by Dragons that are fueld by the hatred in man kinds soul. Man thats good stuff.
