I know what your thinking, this game can be hard. However, I have found the trick to getting through this game comfortably, yet it is still a challenge. The key to this game is fight, fight, fight! Enhance your swords as quickly as possible (to lvl 3)! Return to areas over and over again, gather spirits, and save. Keep it going! Enhance and improve your skills. Once I used this method, I became a master fighter and the controls were a breeze. Trust me! This is the key to this game! I enhanced my swords in this order (the order in which I got the orbs, a no brainer) lightning, fire, and wind. By the time I rounded up enough spirits for level 3 lightning, I was well on my way to level 2 fire without much effort. It is repetitive, but I enjoyed it! Let me just say this is a beautiful game. The storyline is excellent. The graphics are very good and appropriate for the time and place. The controls took some getting use to, but ... once I got the hang of them, it was not a problem.
