Geo Wars 2 is possibly the best XBLA game out their!

Geometry Wars Retro Evolved 2...lets just call it GW2, is one, and maybe the best two stick shooter for XBOX Live Arcade. The first game had only 1 game mode, which is Evolved in this game that goes along with 5 other game modes. But I'm getting ahead of myself. The gameplay. You are a "ship" and you are being assaulted by shapes. Some of the shapes just float around to get in your way and others chase after you and explode into 2 other smaller shapes. There are many others but you should play the game to find them out. The first game mode is Deadline: You have unlimited lives and you need to rack up as many points as you can in 3 minutes. The next is King: You have unlimited time but only 1 life, you have to make your way to circles and kill enemies by shooting outside the circle, but the circles degrade over time, at which point you must run to another circle without dieing. Evolved is the next game mode and it is the same as the first game, you start with 3 lives and 3 bombs and if you get to 100,000 points you get an extra of both, and every 10x you will receive another (1,000,000-10,000,000-ect.) The next is one of the most played and posted online Pacifism. You cant shoot and have no bombs. There is only one type of enemy one that is slower than you but will follow you closely and the only way to kill them is to pass through gates that explode(i also forgot to mention geoms, once you kill an enemy they leave behind 2-4 geoms that you must pick up to increases you multiplier). The next is Waves, you will be constantly assaulted by lines of rockets that will either take up half of the screen of the full screen, only on life-no bombs. In Sequence you have a series of challenges that you must get through in 30 seconds. If you die the round in and you will move onto the next. You start with 3 lives and bombs and you can get extras in the same way you do in Evolved.
Overall this game is very addicting and fun. Once you beat you friends high score you will feel AWESOME. Some game modes like Pacifism you will keep playing for hours even if you keep dieing! The Achievements are great and will help you try Multiple game modes. Buy it its only 800 MS points. That's 10 dolla fool!
