With the lack of game releases this past few months, there has been one game that has had me coming back and playing it. Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved sets a standard for XBLA games. It is one of those games that is refreshingly simple and addicting. And even though the graphics are 2D for the most part, they are just amazing, the amount of colors there are when the game gets frantic reminds me of a 4th of July fireworks show! But there are a few downsides, like there is olny one mode in the game, and I would have been a little happier with a larger selection of weapons and enemies, but it isnt to bad. I can't recommend this game enough for XBLA users. It is a must buy!
