A childhood favorite that's still fun to play.
Some people don't like the style of having to buy upgrades or weapons, and say that it's weird that the Ghostbusters don't make their own equipment. Well yeah it's not like in the movie, But I still think it's a great system. You get money from clearing a level and then you can buy something from the shop, and it's kinda like Megaman that you should get the weapons in the right order to make it easier, for exampel get the fire weapon for the snowman boss, or the 3-way shot for the woman that multiplies.
And speaking of the bosses, WOW, they'r cool looking and funny as hell to fight, and, there's ALOT of them. I'm not going to go in depth to describe the boss fights cause I don't want to spoil the awesomeness if you haven't play it.
I loved this game groving up and I still think it's fun to play many years later.
The only thing I miss in this game is a 2 Player mode but hey, you can't have everything.
So in conclusion Ghostbusters on Mega Drive/Genesis is awesome, so if you have a chance to play it go for it.
9/10.. if it had 2 player support I would have given it close to 10 perhaps 9.8
