Most say games based on movies are bad... BUT... this one hits it right on the nose. Amazing is the only word.

As a 23 year old guy, I watched Ghostbusters as a kid and grew up with the toys, the Nintendo/Super Nintendo games, and the animated television show. I followed this game as soon as I heard wind of it years ago and knowing that the original cast was going to do it, I had good feelings that they'd preserve the Ghostbusters as it was 25 years ago. After picking up my game at a midnight opening at Gamestop and playing pretty much all night and into today, I'm happy to say that this game is amazing.

I've made it through maybe 5 or 6 levels and there doesn't seem to be any signs of it ending. The single player campaign is long, and it preserves the essence of Ghostbusters. All the elements are there, from the accuracy of how busting ghosts worked (with a slight video game twist thrown in there) to the sounds and graphics being dead on to the witty characters and jokes that we all remember.

I think for a fan, this will satisfy any hunger for a Ghostbusters game that we've all been waiting for. For those who don't remember the original Ghostbusters, you'll definitely enjoy the game play, graphics, and storyline. You don't need to be a fan to enjoy it.

Overall, this game is awesome and I would recommend it to anyone.
