MOst games I can just give a score but this is a tough one. This game has some problems and shortcomings and in a lot of ways it left me wanting more. But compared to other games these days this is one of the more fun games I've played. It's oldschool in it's charm and what is does technically is actually really impressive. As far as gameplay. Destructible environments, cool mechanics. It's a shooter with a ghostbuster spin obviously. A good selection of weapons and different enenemies and environments. The story is pretty much ghostbusters 3 if everyone was able to get together after ghostbusters 2 and didn't age. It's really well done in that regard and offers quite a bit. But the game also has its drawbacks. There are framerate issues. The game looks absolutely fantastic in areas but other times, some of the environments and enemies arent as detailed as they could be. It's a pretty straightforward linear experience as well. Some of the mechanics can be hit and miss as well. The game just could have used some extra polish and dev time I guess to really get the gameplay down and clean up some of the graphics. As a game on its own this is probably a 7-7.5.. But as far as story and complete package its probably around an 8.
