This is one of those games that are designed to be pure fun from start to finish. And the fun factor is very high indeed. Repetitive game-play? Who cares when there's almost constant witty banter between your fellow ghostbusters. Not challenging enough? It's not designed to be a challenge but experience. No multiplayer? Frankly, I'm sick of developers ramming multiplayer in games just for the sake of having multiplayer option because it's oh so fashionable at the moment. This game is a single player romp through Ghostbusters universe, and there's nothing to be gained with multiplayer play. It's about participating in an original ghostbusting story, listening to dialogs and reading all the silly descriptions of ghosts, haunted objects, and equipment. It can also get very creepy at times, but the tension is quickly broken by some hilarious remark from your colleagues..
But there is a dark cloud on the horizon... This game does not have the iconic Ray Parker Jr. theme. It features only the extremely cropped version of the song. Two (2) verses at the beginning and end of the game and that's it. Unforgivable! Also, it would be nice if you could actually play Q*bert...
