You will feel like a Real Ghostbuster - unless you like to save your game.

I was first in line to purchase this game for the PC. As a huge Ghostbusters fan, I knew there was a lot to live up to - especially the storyline. They got that right. I enjoyed the comedy and familiarity of the scenes along with tidbits only true Ghostbusters fans would recognize. This game satisfied that area as well as game play, although it took an hour to get it down. It ran just perfect at highest resolution on my PC although I did experience a few crashes, with that crash message appearing on an external window outside of the game which made my system appear to hang. ALT-TAB to desktop would show the error message. Closing the error message would result in the game crashing and thankfully the game would resume at last saved checkpoint when re-launching.

My BIG complaint is you CANNOT SAVE DURING THE MISSIONS! They are laid out in stages/checkpoints. Didn't they learn anything from Star Wars: Dark Forces? Time is not on my side and I must interrupt gameplay and call it a day at last minute notice. No way in hell I'm leaving my 800 Watt dual quad-core XEON workstation idling for 8-10 hours while I have to leave unexpectedly. My electricity bill would be outrageous and my computer would be doubling as a space heater in the hot summer weather.

Overall I applaud the designers and cast for creating a true feeling of being a Ghostbuster. If they would have created an option to save games during a mission, I would have given this game a 9.5, I would recommend this game for those who have time on their hands who don't mind having to complete the missions without the luxury of saving a game.
