A great version with a few new features and now its portable

Gitaroo Man appeared a few years ago on the PlayStation 2 and although being a great game it only became a sleeper hit. Now Koei have released Gitaroo Man Lives!, Its the same game that was released back on the PlayStation 2 a few years ago but with a few extras and now its on the PSP. The graphics for the original were not what you could call breathtaking but they fit the theme of the game great, on the PSP the graphics look like they have had a slight touch-up and look a lot sharper which is quite surprising since its a PSP game, another surprise is the addition of the colour change of the "fan" when you are following the line closely, the closer you follow the line the darker brown the "fan" will go which is a big help on stages like "legendary theme acoustic" or "Resurrection". The game also has a few updates like the inclusion of the Duet mode where you get to play with a friend via Wi-Fi or with the computer if you don't have any friends to play with. Its also in this mode that you can play the 2 new stages one is a fast rock based song the other is a slightly slower Latin sounding song. Both the new songs are great additions to the game and maybe hints at a possible sequel. However the game does have its down sides the main one being its a bit short. Also if you already played the original game on the PS2 there isn't much reason to buy this except to play it on PSP.
