The game is great, because there are dozens of kinds of gladiators for you school, all different with different skills. To show all these classes there are four regions: Imperia (Rome-ish), Nordagh (Barbarians), Windward Steppes (a little like Asia), and the Southern Expanse (Arabia). Different schools are present here. such as heavily armoured in Imperis and lighter in Nordagh. It is fun with either character, however I only like the sidekick character Ludo, so I always choose Valens. It would be nice if the story of the characters wasn't so emphasized, because the voice acting isn't very good.
The gameplay is the best, which requires strategy of special attacks, buffs, class types, etc. Depending how good you are with it, the swing meter can be a good or bad thing.
If you like rpgs this game is great, and you can really customize your school's appearance and clothes a ton, so you will have plenty of control.
