Very solid RPG thats like a game of chess

Gladius simply feels like a very lengthy game. I can’t say the exact amount of hours it will take you to beat it, but know this: you will be playing for a while. Battles can take anywhere from five minutes to a half hour…possibly more. Besides this, players will end up spending a huge bulk of their time just messing around with features outside of the arena.

Although the general non-linearity of the game alone may make you want to play again, LucasArts provides another reason. After players select “New Game” they are immediately forced to choose between two characters, each with separate storylines. The only thing is that LucasArts considers one characters quest to be easier than the other, so if you’re like me and choose the harder one first, the easier character may not be quite as fun after you’ve beaten the game once.

As I stated before, your friends will hate you if make them watch the game. There is a solution, however! LucasArts has given the option to allow your friends to join in on the action and control a character on your team. Nice work keeping on top of things, guys. Too bad there’s no deathmatch, though.
