A fun game if not a bit frustrating.
The game has its downfalls, the graphics aren't that wonderful, and I'm not a big fan of the music, making an exception for the fear levels. The game just isn't very good from a technical standpoint. Also the story blows chunks. Some wizard has living gloves, and one falls into some concoction, and our hero Glover flies out the window after the fat wizard trips and falls backwards through the floor, presumably to his death. The land plunges into darkness and you have reunite all these magic crystals to save the world. Not exactly Shakespeare.
However, where the game excels is in the gameplay. The game is very fun and rewarding once you get a hang of the initially overwhelming controls. The game really just works, and the mechanics are inherently fun using the ball and glove combo. Glover controls a rubber ball than can be a bowling ball than can be an iron ball that is really a crystal. The gameplay consists of you manipulating your balls in different ways to get to the end (I had to make one ball joke).
Overall, I'd say the game is worth playing for any platformer fan, but it might not be your thing. You should definitely try it though, because it will cost you practically nothing. I've seen the game on sale for 1 cent.
