This breakdancing game isn't DDR, but it's a lot of fun anyway.

This rhythm game takes an approach that is slightly different from its predecessors such as Dance Dance Revolution and Guitar Hero. You play as a breakdancer who must perform steps to the beats churned out by the DJ. It's not nearly as easy as it looks. You complete sequences with the different-colored buttons on your controller, but watch out--if you don't space them in exactly the same way as the song, no quicker and no more slowly, you will mess up and be humiliated by the frowning face emblem (plus you'll have to try the same part until you get it right). The characters even have their own funny challenge lines. Do the moves well, and you get to knock out little pictures of characters, Clear them all, and you pass on to the next song and contest. Although the game is hardly an outpost of super-realism, as it's a cartoon take on the scene, it is quick to catch on, and it's a lot of fun. You could play yet another war simulator-- or you could enjoy yourself.
