Meh... Not bad
Graphics: 7/10
One of the most noticeable problems with GS97 is in the polygonal character rendering. It takes away the most important thing in a simulation game: the experience of being AT the game itself. However, this game does make up for this by having quite a few different teams, almost every international team that you can think of.
Gameplay: 8.5/10
The biggest pro for this game in the gameplay department is in the many ways to play the game. Like most simulation games, you have total control over what your character(s) do, thus leading to completely different outcomes every game. However, this simulation's most glaring problem is the unrealistic feel of the controls. It handles like a $5 PC game from 95, so that means no diagonal running!!! Other problems includes a recurring and predictable trend in the AI: every game, before halftime, the human player wins almost all the headers, while after halftime, the computer wins all the headers. This becomes very annoying, since that basically means your first half is always going to be better than your second half...
Just a few of the cons here too.
