Gobliins 4 as the title signifies with the three i's, has three characters, Tchoup the investigator, Perilous the magician, and Stucco the strongman. The game is a throw back to the original gobliiins, gobliins 2, and goblins quest 3 games created in the early 90's. The game mechanics for the new version work identically to those for the old two dimensional games in the series. The mouse is used to control the characters and interact with the surroundings. The purpose of the game is to solve various puzzles in order to save a king's pet armadillo. The game holds true to its origins however the puzzles are not as creative as some of the other titles. The graphics are the only real improvement. The game is relatively short, however will keep you entertained throughout the possible 14 hours of game play. I would suggest this game for people that like funny cartoonish puzzle games. If you played the original gobliins this is a fun reminder of the old days.
