god of war features the age of ancient Greece . our hero in the game is a spartan actually a general of the army named KRATOS.he has matchless talents that make him the best choice for the gods for acomplishing their task.the task is to defeat a god named ARIES . kratos is the man with skills enough to kill aries with the help of gods.
Kratos posess the blades of chaos along with some other swords but the main weapon is his chaos blade. these blades are tied around is fore arms and they cant be removed . these are actually cursed blades. before serving the gods kratos served aries in search of ultimate power .in doing this he has to kill his own wife and family. but soon he realizes that he had done great wrong in search of power . now he wants to un do the evil which he has done . this can only be done by killing aries.
GRAPHICS:the perfect atmospheric graphics , give a whole good feeling about the ancient greece and the city of athens. there are muntains , waters and sands of deserts and much more lively environments .
GAMEPLAY: The gameplay engine is superb . u can unleash hell with ur blades . different combinations yeild different combos but pressing the square button can be handy sometimes. over the course of time kratos gains experience and can upgrade his blades as well as magic power. different magic powers are awarded to kratos for service to gods e.g freezind magic , lightning magic , some throwing fire balls like migic and a bit more.
SOUND: better sound . could be a little better though. but still great.
ENDING COMMENT: EVERY PS2 OWNER MUST GET THIS MASTER PIECE
