Kratos should have his own constellation.

God of War is easily one of the greatest games released in the last few years. Definitely one of the greatest PS2 titles, and maybe even one of the greatest games of all time. But all bragging aside, this actually is a great game. It doesn't have as thunderous a start as some great games might, but it chooses to grab your attention in a different way. It gives you a mysterious main character and builds an epic story around him, intriguing your interest with every turn. And as that story unfolds you get to beat up bad guys with probably my favorite weapons since the AK-47 - The Blades of Chaos. Kratos is given these weapons by the Gods, and uses them marvelously. I've seriously never had so much fun just running around defeating enemies. And the rewards for your fun are even bettter. There is an upgrade system that can increase the power and variety of your attacks, as well as the potentcy of your magic. While you're slamming enemies into the ground then spinning them around so you can bash their skull in, you never lose track of what's going on. The camera and graphics perfectly compliment the insane action taking place, while the stellar soundtrack gives it the melodic feel of Ancient Greece. This game is a classic, and can be played again and again, and should be with all the different difficulty levels. I imagine people will be telling the legend of Kratos for years to come.
