This is what an action-adventure game should be...period
Great Camera movement, theres never a problem with it
Controls are very responsive and smooth, feeling natural
Graphics are top-notch with plenty of great details
Levels designs have too. a huge ammount of detail
Again, enemies designs are awesome have a lot of detail on them, the whole graphical department is flawless
The music too does its job in the best way possible, making you feel the ambient, the mood and improve the experience during the whole gameplay
There's plenty of replay value and unlocks
I've personally never liked amorphic monstrous bosses that you can barely tell what they are, in this game it doesnt happen, bosses are great, detailed, semihuman or mythological creatures totally eyecandy
Boss fights are interesting, its not only about button mashing, but about timing, strategy, blocking and dodging, the flow is perfect.
This game has a great balance between action and puzzle solving you will not get bored.
Puzzles have the right difficulty, they're not easy they're not hard, they will make you think a little (Although there are 2 that are quite annoying)
The mature and gory theme fits the spartan plot and the Hero quite well
The bad things about God of War are not easy to pick, since there are almost none...but comes to mind this:
The game is so enjoyable that feels too short...could be good so it doesnt become repetitive..maybe?
There are a couple of puzzles where you have to drag a box...youll have to hold it in order to push it forward, but enemies will keep spawning over and over either breaking the box or making it fall behind...really really frustrating puzzle
The overall: Again, this is just a perfect action-adventure game, the effort put on this game flourishes and can be seeing in every single detail the game has, every enviroment, every enemy, every puzzle, etc etc.
This game is so good, that it not only started a new franchise, but also gave us a new sony iconic character, a hero (or anti-hero) Kratos.
