God of War is, simply, one of te best games ever!

I don't know if there's anything not to like about God of War. Story? deep and involving, makes you care about the characters involved. By the time you reach the end, you're more than ready to kill Aries. Characters? Exeleent representation of the gods and godesses of Greek mythology. Kratos, the game's main character, is quite original, and instantly grabs tthe player's attention. And holds on tight. Graphics? Simply the best I've ever seen the PS2 put out. In fact, some of the best console graphics I've seen thus far.

The gameplay, in my perspective, is what makes the game so addictive. You can wade through a dozen or so enemies, and dispatch each one with a different attack combo. The combat is amazing, addictive, and inovative, taking just a few different buttons, and creating a complex system of attacks and blocks. And the bloody aspect only implroves this. if one of your chaos blades makes the slightest contact with and enemy, blood flies. A lot of it. And it's realistic.

In short, this game is a must have must play. I don't have a PS2 ( I confess i played it and beat it on my friends system), but this game makes me want to get one, if i didn't already. God of War is and Instant classic. And I hope there is a sequel in the future. Sony would be hard pressed to mess up such a masterpiece.
