One awesome little game

God Of War is one of the best PS2 games to come out in 2005, however it dosent look like this one will be getting any game of year awards or anything. Graphicly this game is amazing but why an 8 for it? there is just too much distoration with how great the graphics are on a not so powerful machine it causes the whole screen to get lines that run up and down occasionaly. Gameplay wise this game is just pretty much a hack n' slash adventure type Prince of Persia puzzles and so on, it dosent do a whole lot to freshin up the genre but I do like the context sensitive actions you can do. This game has awesome sound! the music is gorgous and it is fully orchestrated and the only thing keeping sound from a 10 is that the music can get repetitive after a while. Overall I think GOW Is a fun, awesome, brilliant experence that should not be missed by fans of the genre.
