shamefully playing the game in 2010 collection edition on the ps3 !!!
Gameplay. ok ive played DMC series which has the similar **** EM UP action which i love, BUT Gow does it better , there more satisfaction , more brutality, and much more intense, im not saying DMC doesant have this , its just that Gow goes further. you can power up weapons and thers a decent amount too including magic, but the two blades you have , enhance in moves as you collect more souls. Ok then we have the puzzles, great , challenging , but then you have your awkard ones which can be really frustrating. But its all possible, theres nothing here that will get you to bust your tv with your fists, it can all be done. Boss fights ... i mean if your playing GOW3 right now , the Epic fights against bosses large monsters is all good . Great to see it on ps2 . Seriously enjoyable. Another thing that is great , is that you can just pick it and play it , i mean theres nothing here that will make you bored out of your brains, in fact you will be addicted by the first 20 mins. Great thing how they use epic beasts to attack you at the begining of the game, i mean how many games start with a minor boss fight ? . kratos compared to other action adventure characters is the opposite of Hero. this guy is a pissed of spartan , whos mind has been in constant troubles of memories and pain,,, so not your ideal boss at work right. But at some points you will feel sorry for this guy , i mean hes not having a good time. But that adds to the brutality effect. Longtevity. Ok this is a long game which i think is fantastic, you can finish it in lets say 15 hours , depending how good you are . But one things for sure you feel the satisafaction at the end, and unlocking treasires making of is all worth it . Overall if your fan of action adventure and own a PS2 PS3 , you have no excuse what so ever not to have this game, i mean you can get it for 20 bucks with GOW2 in collection remaster and HD, i think weve been spoilt. overall .. gamespot give this 9.3 /10 I GIVE THIS 9.8/10 it could do with less puzzles , and more weapons. But thats a **** petty thing .
