Great Game, among best ps2 has to offer.
Gameplay- 9/10
God of war's gameplay is great in almost every aspect. You can form almost endless combos and you also get special attacks to mix things up. The various puzzles are all challenging, but not to the point of frustration. Some of the things that i didnt like though was that some of the monsters can overwhelm you if you don't defeat them quickly enough and the fact that even though most of the puzzles and challenges don't make you extremely mad, there are some that make you want to through the game disc out the window.
Graphics- 10/10
God of War has amazing graphics and in my opinion no other game on the ps2 can compare. From seeing ares in the distance, to going through hades, the graphics are always amazing.
Sound- 10/10
The sound on this game is amazing. The voice acting is great and the narrator is the best of any game or movie i have ever heard. The soundtrack is extremely well written and never gets annoying. The gameplay sounds are great too.
Value- 9/10
This game is good to play through twice (once on easy, normal or hard and once on god) to unlock all the extras, but after that, there isn't much point besides reliving the story to keep you playing it.
All and all this is one of the best ps2 games ever and maybe even one of the best games evr. If you like action games, mythology, or great storylines, you can't afford to miss this game.
