A really really good game

First off God of War is rated M for mature. Why? Because it has topless ladies and it's so bloody it makes grand theft auto look like a game for kids (not an exaggeration). You can press two buttons on the controller and rip an undead soldier in half (also not an exaggeration). The bloodiest parts of the game are the cut scenes which are expertly animated and full of detail. As you should know god of war takes place in ancient Greek mythology and you have to kill lots of ancient Greek monsters to get Pandora’s box and use it to kill the god of war. The graphics on this are amazing from the waters of the Aegean Sea to the scales of the hydra, to the sands of the dessert. The sound is also equally amazing from the haunting melodies of the sirens to the soundtrack to the sound of you ripping off medusa's head. In the game play you kill monsters and you'll get red orbs for exp. You can use these red orbs to upgrade your magic and your blades of chaos to make them more powerful and to get more combos. The puzzles in this game are also well thought out. This game even has something for the really really good players including the challenge of the gods and god mode, if you can beat both you can claim ultimate bragging rights. This game is a must have for any action game fan or for any fan of violent games or really for anyone with a PS2 who doesn't have a faint heart and isn't squeamish.
