Seriously, some kind of miracle happened when God Of War hit PS2. How graphics like this were packed into a Playstation 2 game is a feat all in itself. Every single environment is cast straight out of ancient Greece and slammed into your TV set. Plus, Kratos is just the biggest bad a** of all time, plain and simple. Who gets pissed and goes off to kill a God? WHO?! KRATOS! THAT'S WHO! The story behind his fury is set perfectly within Greek mythology, and in the end, you will be satisfied with the results. Revolutionary button-mashing game play is taken to the extremes with awesome weapons like Swords chained to Kratos' arms and the powers of the Gods themselves. Ever wanted to use Zeus's thunder on some annoying little mongrel? Go ahead. What about unleashing the furious souls of Hell? Well, that can be a big help. And if you just like to cleave your way to the top, almost every enemy can be taken down in it's own special way, in the likes of a sort of mini-game....usually involving ripping of limbs and heads. Oh and let's not forget taking on the most famous of the famous monsters, ones like the 7-Headed Hydra and Giant Minotaurs, cyclops, and Medusa. Search for Pandora's Box in the most awesome temple of all time...you'll see what I mean. Bottom line: PLAY THIS GAME!!
